After seeing so much contamination and plastic in our oceans we began our journey recycling and repurposing materials to help the planet. With our business, we wanted to reduce the human impact on the construction industry using shipping containers as a responsible alternative to conventional construction, joining the sustainable construction movement.

That is when John Cook founded Welding to Recycle, based in Gainesville, FL, in 2015 and began working together with and for Architects, Engineers and General Contractors to provide creative solutions to our client’s specific requirements for residential, commercial and industrial uses. Welding to Recycle is now a leader company in the shipping container construction industry in Gainesville, FL.
